What steps do I need to take to setup a website?
The easiest way to start is to allow Michele to create your account and process all paperwork If you have any questions, please call 1300 080 581 and talk with one of our office staff, who will advise you in establishing a successful online presence.
How long after I sign up will my website be visible on the Internet?
If you are registering a domain name at the same time you place your order, we need to allow that name to propogate on the Internet. Usually this will take less than 24 hours. On weekends, it could take up to 2 days.
Otherwise, within 15 minutes of signing up you will receive a welcome email with all the information you need to lookup your website, email addresses will then be setup and your site will be created over the next 10 days. Your site will be visible during this time but we will not submit it to the Search Engines till it is completed.

How do I get an additional website added to my hosting account?
If ay any time you wish to add additional websites you can do this through your Cpanel administration or you can contact our sales team to help you.
Can I have Streaming Media on my website?
Yes this can be setup at any time if initially you do not want it but at a later time you decide to add it our staff are there to help.
Do you place advertisements on my page?
Absolutely not. We will not place any pop ads, banners, etc. on your website.
What platform do your servers run on?
We run in a UNIX like environment called Linux with Apache web server software.
Will I have access to Microsoft FrontPage extensions?
Yes. We support all versions of Microsoft 98, 2000, 2002, 2003.
Do I have unlimited access to edit my site?
Yes. You can edit your site 24 hours a day via your Cpanel control panel or through your FTP software.
Can I access my site with or without the 'www'?
Unlike some of our competitors, with Are U Hosted you can access your site with both (www.yourname.com) and without (yourname.com).
Does AUH support PHP scripting?
All accounts have PHP scripting included and set up for you if at any time you require more scripting we will install it during the contract term depending on the size of your account. If you are on a small account and you require scripting that needs a larger account all you need to do is upgrade your account. or call one of our sales staff to help you achieve whatwever you want.
